For the fourth year in a row, Mackey & Tanner was honored by the Aggie 100. The Aggie 100 recognizes the fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. This year, we were rated as #25 on the list! The firm was founded by Jeff Mackey & Frank Tanner both Aggies, Class of 1987. It was an honor to be included on the prestigious list and we hope to repeat next year!
For the second year in a row, Mackey & Tanner, LLC has made the Inc. 500|5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. In 2010, we ranked #1,136. We don’t know where we rank this year, but we will find out when the list is announced in late September. Wish us luck!!
According to an article on the Houston Business Journal’s website, Houston had the highest total growth rate of high net worth individuals among the Top 10 metropolitan areas for the second year in a row. Houston moved up to number eight on the list, according to figures from Capgemini. See more details here.
The Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program in conjunction with the Batelle Technology Partnership Practice published a study in July reporting that Houston was ranked ninth on the list of major metropolitian cities for the most green jobs. The intent of the study was to put real numbers on the clean, or “green,” economy in the United States.
